Our founders Ossie Sr., known as Butch and his wife Donna Challinor built the business from the ground up. The Challinor children’, Ossie Jr, Rick, and Heidi have preserved Hillsboro Diesel & Truck Service as a family owned business, just like their parents did over 40 years ago. Some of our employees have been with the company for over 25 years. Our shop crew is qualified and able to perform a full line of maintenance and repair services to our customers.

Hillsboro, Oregon was founded in 1842 by land working farmers and entrepreneurs. It was incorporated in 1876 and continued to be a thriving farm community. In the 1980’s, high tech industry Intel, came to Hillsboro, providing a new direction for the city and started the expansion. Although farming has decreased in the past couple of decades; Hillsboro is still home to many farms and nurseries, such as; Finegan, Vananasche, Unger Farms and Oregon rose and Cascadian nursery.
