Locally family owned and operated we have been providing customers with maintenance and repair of heavy equipment for heavy-duty trucks, agriculture and forestry machinery since 1975. Our founders Ossie Sr., known as Butch and his wife Donna Challinor built the business from the ground up. The dynamic duo established the tradition of a courteous staff that was qualified, informed and eager to provide reliable service to their customers. Our family legacy of providing quality service to our customers continues today.

The Challinor children’, Ossie Jr, Rick, and Heidi have preserved Hillsboro Diesel & Truck Service as a family owned business, just like their parents did over 40 years ago. Some of our employees have been with the company for over 25 years. Our shop crew is qualified and able to perform a full line of maintenance and repair services to our customers.

Throughout the years we have grown to become a fixture in the Hillsboro, Oregon Community as the leader in large equipment and truck repair. We are proud to be one of the largest heavy equipment repair, parts and service companies in Washinton County and service the surrounding Portland Metro area. Hillsboro, Oregon History

Hillsboro, Oregon was founded in 1842 by land working farmers and entrepreneurs. It was incorporated in 1876 and continued to be a thriving farm community. In the 1980’s, high tech industry Intel, came to Hillsboro, providing a new direction for the city and started the expansion. Although farming has decreased in the past couple of decades; Hillsboro is still home to many farms and nurseries, such as; Finegan, Vananasche, Unger Farms and Oregon rose and Cascadian nursery. Hillsboro Diesel is proud of its roots and its community. We take pride in being the local repair shop in Washington County, providing maintenance and repair for the heavy equipment that farmers and nurseries depend on.
